About Abbey Park Mats

When Finn and Lyn Warholm were building their new house they quickly realised that the mud from the building site would be tramped in on the new floors. Finn saw an advert for a doormat that takes mud off your boots and purchased one mat by mail order but found the process less than user-friendly. Finn is half Danish and, following a visit to a trade show in Denmark, he saw the doormats which are now available from Abbey Park Mats. Finn and Lyn launched the firm of Abbey Park Mats in 2000 with a view to making mail ordering of their mats straight forward and a pleasant experience.

The Li-Flat doormat is a good quality mat with dense 100% cotton pile, a vinyl/rubber anti-slip backing and a lie-flat edging. The Li-Flat doormats can be washed by machine or by hand, they are highly absorbent and resilient and available from Abbey Park Mats in four attractive colours and four sizes.
